Due to the southern latitude, El Salto’s bass have the opportunity to spawn at least twice per year. Perhaps a best time to catch a spawn is in late summer when crank baits or swim baits will produce hundred fish or better days.

     Lake El Salto premier Mexico Bass Fishing, is a scenic impoundmente located on foot hill of Sierra Madre Mountains, it´s just 550 feet above Sea Level, it´s just 90 minutes away from Mazatlan, Mexico (The closest international airport, code MZT), on all paved roads, driving north, it was built on the Elota river and spans approximetly 27,000.00 acres. The Weather averages normally the 82 degrees Faranheit.

Lake El Salto was loaded around 15 years ago with Largemouth Florida Bass, but because of the warm temperature of the water, it turned in to a very big and agressive BASS.

And remember that Lake El Salto is very closed to Mazatlan, just 1 ½ hours away!!!. Most of our fishing guides are natives from the small towns around the lake, so they know exactly the spots for the best fishing, in addition the chief of guides has been working on the sportfishing, for more than 17 year in this lake.
